Avon to Vail, Colorado : September 3-4, 2005
Overview:
It's race week and the excitement is building in Avon and Vail as the TriAmerica race venue is being built out. Great weather is forecast for the weekend and athletes are already arriving. Saturday morning's TriAmerica TriKidz Triathlon kicks off the weekend activities in Avon. Sunday features both Sprint and International distance races.
Entry is still available in all the races so come out and enjoy the beauty of the Vail Valley and be part of the TriAmerica Series.
Race Venue:
This will be a point to point race with the swim taking place at Nottingham Lake in Avon, CO. The race will finish at Vail Village, Vail, CO. The distance between the start and finish is 12 miles. A free shuttle service will be offered for both athletes and spectators.

Volunteers are still needed for all events and positions are available to fit any schedule. Volunteer now!
Registration:
For the Sprint triathlon, registration is open to individuals ages 9 and above. For the International distance triathlon, registration is open to individuals aged 15 and older, and two or three person relay teams.Online registration remains open until midnight Friday night. Registration is also available at the Avon Recreation Center on Saturday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Click here to view our registration policies.
