Central Florida TriKidz Race Details

Location

Clermont's Waterfront Park. Clermont is just 20 minutes west of Orlando at State Road 50 & US 27. From US 27 take SR 50 west to East Ave. Travel north on East Ave. one mile to Palm Ave. and the entrance to Waterfront Park.

Specially designed triathlons for kids ages 6-14!

Distances:

Juniors - Kids ages 6-10 swim 100 yards; bike 3 miles and run 1/2 mile*

Seniors - Kids ages 11-14 swim 200 yards, bike 5 miles and run 1 mile*

Eligibility:

Individuals - Kids ages 6-14.

NOTE: In accordance with USAT rules, all athletes will race in the appropriate division based on their age on December 31, 2006, not age on race day as it has been in the past.

USA Triathlon (Important):

The Central Florida Kids Triathlon Series is Sanctioned by USA Triathlon. NEW FOR 2006 - All youth particiapants must be a member of USAT. Annual membership for youths is $5 per year and must be purchased in advance of the race. A major benefit for parents is that they will not be required to attend every race registration to sign their child's USAT waiver. They will sign up their child ONE TIME for a low membership fee of $5 at the beginning of the year, and youth triathletes will be eligible to compete in all triathlons for the remainder of their annual membership.
